Southlake Community Ontario Health Team to open a COVID-19, Cold and Flu Care Clinic in Georgina

The clinic will provide in-person care for those experiencing moderate cold, flu or COVID-like symptoms.

 

NEWMARKET, ON – July 19, 2022 – The Southlake Community Ontario Health Team (OHT) is once again providing access to health care services within the communities it serves, with the launch of a COVID-19, Cold and Flu Care clinic in Georgina. The clinic will open by appointment only on July 20, 2022 and will provide in-person care for those experiencing moderate cold, flu, or COVID-like symptoms.

The clinic will be operated by Southlake Community OHT partners, Enhanced Care Clinic and GoToDoctor.ca, and will be staffed by physicians, nurses and healthcare professionals from the local communities. The Southlake Community OHT is committed to providing timely and high-quality access to health care and clinicians through this clinic. The clinic accepts booked appointments only.

COVID-19 testing will be available in alignment with the provincial eligibility criteria. Travel swabs are not available at this clinic.
